Little Mowgli Nursery & Preschool is inspired by the tales of the jungle from our favourite stories, and we love nothing more than taking our children outside to explore and discover the wonders of the natural world around them.
At Little Mowgli Nursery, we will be caring for curious young minds. We will be providing nurturing, stimulating and inclusive environments to enable children to become independent, confident and inquisitive, with a love of learning. We will be supporting your child to 'find their brave' and 'live the full life of the jungle' and everything it has to teach them.
Our Early Years curriculum will provide a stimulating and enjoyable learning journey, to ensure that each child will thrive academically, with their individual needs and interests being met.
In a warm, supportive environment that both motivates and challenges, we will be inspiring our little adventurers to find the courage to dream, to take a lead role in their learning, to find joy in the simple things in life, and to be themselves simply.
Early Years Foundation Stage

Our Ethos at Little Mowgli Nursery
Welcome to Little Mowgli Nursery near Preston, our warm and nurturing community. Your child will be safe, valued and free to learn about and explore the world around them. We are a small, friendly nursery a short drive from Preston.
Our community-focused, home-from-home provides the perfect environment for children to be seen, valued and treated as individuals. We aim to inspire and nurture each child's natural sense of curiosity, creativity and love of the outdoors by providing opportunities to learn, explore and develop through a play-based curriculum.
Little Mowgli is filled with the inspiration of our love of nature and childhood sense of adventure, discovery and wonder. With two unique rooms – Tigers and Giraffes, and a large outdoor area, our children are given the space and freedom to learn and develop at their own pace. We are all about community and the relationships we share with the children, parents and guardians in our care and the beautiful natural world we live in.
Through providing opportunities for play-based learning and hands-on experiences, a strong emphasis on nature and outdoor play, we aim to build confidence and independence and a strong sense of belonging.

The smooth transition by the staff with settling in days at the nursery put me at ease and now they both attend two full days a week.

Brilliant nursery, my Niece and Nephew absolutely love coming here! Staff are so welcoming and nurturing and they have plenty of activities for the children throughout the day. Would recommend to others looking for a homely, safe setting to send their little ones!
I recently had a look around the nursery with a view to putting my x2 children in with me only working around the corner.
To say how pleasantly surprised i was with there facilities and organisation is a understatement, The children are booked in for the start of July, Im Really looking forward to seeing them develop here.
Such an amazing nursery with great access to the outdoor area. The children are made wonderfully healthy food with caring staff around them. The children even get access into Jungle World playarea, which is a highlight for them all. Would definitely recommend.
