Little Mowgli Nursery is a small, community-focused Nursery on the doorstep of Eccleston's village centre. We strive to provide a homely atmosphere in which children can be themselves and be safe, secure, valued, and loved.
We aim to inspire children to grow and flourish, while also being inspired by the world around them, and to give them the freedom just to be themselves. Inspired by nature and adventure, we cultivate curiosity, creativity, and a love of the great outdoors.
Our two rooms, Tigers and Giraffes, as well as our beautiful outdoor area, provide the perfect space for children to explore and grow, while learning and developing at their own pace. We believe in community and in the importance of good relationships between children, parents, and the environment that we share.
We promote this through experiential learning, our play-based curriculum, and our love of the great outdoors; we want to help children become confident, independent members of our community who are happy in their skin. At Little Mowgli, we believe that every child is an explorer!
Early Years Foundation Stage
Children learn and develop best when supported by adults who will teach and guide them. Responding to each child's interests and needs and helping them to build on their learning over time is key.
All children are unique, constantly learning, and resilient, capable, confident, and self-assured.
Children develop and learn at different rates. The framework underpins the education and care of all children in early years settings, including those with special educational needs and disabilities.
Everyone is welcome in our setting; Children develop strength and independence through nurturing and positive relationships.

Welcome to Little Mowgli Nursery. We love providing an inspiring, stimulating, and diverse environment for children to flourish and thrive. Language, literacy, social skills, and imagination are all fostered through play, exciting activities, and experiences. Time outside, in all weathers, is an integral part of mental and physical health and well-being. It also helps to develop resilience, curiosity, and a sense of wonder about the natural world.

My two children aged 4 and 2 have settled in perfectly, they really have enjoyed attending. They both come home telling me all about the activities they have done that day. The smooth transition by the staff with settling in days at the nursery put me at ease and now they both attend two full days a week.

Brilliant nursery, my Niece and Nephew absolutely love coming here! Staff are so welcoming and nurturing and they have plenty of activities for the children throughout the day. Would recommend to others looking for a homely, safe setting to send their little ones!
I recently had a look around the nursery with a view to putting my x2 children in with me only working around the corner.
To say how pleasantly surprised i was with there facilities and organisation is a understatement, The children are booked in for the start of July, Im Really looking forward to seeing them develop here.
Such an amazing nursery with great access to the outdoor area. The children are made wonderfully healthy food with caring staff around them. The children even get access into Jungle World playarea, which is a highlight for them all. Would definitely recommend.
